Tecla Walton is a CPDT-certified trainer with over 25 years of experience and credentials from the Tom Rose School, CYNX-L, and NADOI. She founded TK9 in 2007 and grew it from her front lawn into a million-dollar business serving the Baltimore-DC area. Her programs earned Best of Baltimore for Daycare and Boarding in 2019 and 2020, and she is highly recommended by veterinarians, breeders, and rescues across the country.

Tecla has worked with thousands of dogs and their owners, from brand new puppies to cases other trainers have given up on. Her background as an educator gives her a unique ability to teach owners, not just train dogs. Dog training is part science, part art.
